Hyderabad, Aug 10th: The revised list of students selected for the IIITs in Idupulapaya, Nuzividu and Basar will be finalized on Thursday. The Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies, which runs the IIITs, is drafting the fresh list after complaints of irregularities in selection surfaced after the earlier admission list was published. Each IIIT has 2,000 seats and the selections are being made for 6,000 seats. The ensure transparency, the university will display the list of selected candidates district wise and mandal wise both manually and on the university website.
It there are any objections, students can lodge complaints at the special grievance cell at the office of RGUKT in Masab Tank. The university officials will look into these complaints and make changes accordingly. The RGUKT has received 38,000 applications from SSC toppers from all the mandals. The list of selected candidates, their marks and reservation category will be displayed on Aug 13. After taking all the complaints and suggestions into consideration, a final list will be prepared and released on Aug 15, said Prof K.C Reddy the RGUKT vice chancellor.
