District Election Officer, Collector Mrs. Neetu Kumari Prasad has ordered the officials to conduct all the 3 phases Village Panchayat Elections peacefully in the district. Yesterday, she has conducted a review meeting on Panchayat Elections with SP's Mr. Siva Shankara Reddy, Mr. Ravi Kumar Murthy and other respective officials at Collectorate in Kakinada. She announced that the Nominations will be received from 9th to 13th of July from Morning 10AM to Evening 5PM. 'Scrutiny of filled Nominations will be conducted from 14th to 15th July. The last date for withdrawal of nominations is 17th July (before 3PM) and the list of contesting candidates will be published on 17th July (after 3PM)', she added. She asked the officials to conduct strict arrangement in all the constituencies for the coming elections. The polling centers will be observed directly by the officials using CC cameras, she stated. The elections should be held peacefully without providing any inconvenience to the public, she noticed the officials.
