Kakinada, Mar 3rd: East Godavari district collector, Mr. Gopala Krishna Dwivedi has organized a review meeting on the effective implementation of the election code. The meeting was organized for all the political party representatives at collectorate court hall on Tuesday. Speaking on the occasion collector asked the representatives to extend their corporation for effective implementation of the election code. He also asked the representatives to seek prior permission from the election authorities for fixing any publicity boards and also for vehicles that will be touring for publicity.
Mr. Dwivedi revealed that the election commission has appointed 23 teams for effective monitoring of election code in the district. The teams include revenue, police and other officers. They along with the video cameras will be monitoring the whole district and send information to the party representatives for the removal of unnecessary publicity boards and holding. Collector sought the cooperation of party representatives in doing the same. District SP Y. Nagi Reddy, joint collector k. Sasidhar, SP Jannardhan, sub collector Manikraj and other participated in the meeting.
