Kakinada, Feb 20^th: Under the chairmanship of East Godavari district collector, Mr. Gopala Krishna Dwivedi a review meeting was organized for all the newly transferred thasildhars from Krishna and West Godavari districts. The meeting took place at local collectorate hall on Friday. Speaking on the occasion collector asked the thasildhars to participate actively in the process of preparing voter lists and bringing awareness among the villager in use of Electronic Voting Machines (EVM).  Initially he asked them to bring an idea on all the development programs that were taking place in the district and act accordingly.

Collector ordered the thasildhars to conduct booth level meetings from 21^st to 22^nd of February and submit a clear voter list. He asked them to speed up the pending works in all the ongoing projects before the declaration of election code so that the beneficiary under the different projects does not face any problems. He also ordered all the newly transferred 50 thasildhars to join in duties immediately so that no interruption takes place in the ongoing works. Joint collector Kona Sasidhar also presided over the meeting. DRO Mohan Raju, Thasildhars and other participated in the meeting.
