Kakinada, Jan 16th: East Godavari district collector Mr. Gopala Krishna Dwivedi has ordered the offices to look over the arrangements in the district for republic day celebrations. In this concern a review meeting was organized at collectorate court hall on Friday. Officers from different departments have participated in the meeting. Keeping in mind about the terrorist’s attacks, he discussed on the security measures to be taken for the safety of the people.
He ordered the revenue and municipal officers to look over the seating arrangements and provide drinking water facility to the students and other chief guests that are going to attend the celebrations. He assigned the educational minister to organize cultural events and patriotic songs by the school students on the occasion. He also revealed that appreciation awards will be given to people for their best services to the society. He asked the concerned officers to select the eligible persons for all the departments. ASP Rama Krishna, D.R.O Mohan Babu, D.R.D.O Kishore Kumar, Municipal commissioner G.S.N Murthy and others participated.
