Hyderabad, May 17th: Out of the 30,000 government teachers who were recently promoted as school assistants and head masters, nearly 3,000 of them will get reversion orders as they failed to prove that the degree certificates submitted by them were genuine. The department is yet to verify the certificates of another 2,000 teachers. On receiving the complaints from the genuine teachers about submitting fake certificates by few of their colleagues, the department of school education has directed the officers whoever is concerned to investigate on the matter.

With this officials directed the teachers to submit their certificates on or before May 5 at the directorate in Hyderabad. The teachers were asked to submit proofs like copies of hall tickets, fee receipts asking to prove that they have applied for the exam. Most of the teachers failed to submit the certificates and out of those who responded, the authorities found that the certificates were either fake or awarded against the norms of the deemed universities. Mr. Bahnu Murthy, director, school education said the concerned district education officers have been directed to issue reversion orders soon to teachers who were found to be ineligible.
