Kakinada, Mar 11th: East Godavari district collector, Mr. Gopala Krishna Dwevedi inaugurated the three day fourth Revenue Sports and Games meet which began at the district’s sports complex here on Thursday. The sports meet is meant for the employees of revenue department where in nearly 2,000 revenue officials are taking part in more that 30 events organized on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion collector said that organizing such event will enhance the strengths of the officials who are always busy with their duties. Superintendent of police Y. Nagi Reddy, Joint collector, Kona Sasidhar and others took part in the program. Six teams will participate in the games comprising the officials from five revenue divisions and Collectorate. Apart from the sports, the committee of the meet will facilitate the revenue officials who retired between Feb 2008 and February 2010.
