Closing Ceremony of Government Inter Department Sports competitions was celebrated grandly here on Sunday at District Sports Authority Stadium. District Collector, Mr. M.Ravi Chandra presided over this closing ceremony. Speaking on this, Collector said that every employee must spend at least half and hour for sports everyday. He stressed that his Pasting blood sugar level was 136 and after revenue sports it reached 106. He said that he did not use any tablets but only because he participated in sports his sugar level came to normal, he added. He stated that Inter Competitions will be conducted for Government Departments again in the month of February next year. Joint Collector, Mr. Kone Sasidhar said that without any distinctions in employees and officers, everybody took part very sportively in these competitions. He appreciated Collector on conducting such competitions. Collector’s Wife Smt. Padmavathi Ravi Chandra gave away prizes to the winners. Revenue Department achieved All Round Championship, ITDA Department stood in second place and DMHO stood in third place. Twenty-Five Kgs Laddu was also given to Revenue Department as they achieved All Round Championship. State Joint Action Committee Deputy Secretary General Ashok Babu, JAC District Chairman Achanta Rama Rayudu, Additional Joint Collector B.Ramarao, ITDA PO Ronald Rose, Rajahmundry Municipal Commissioner Manikya Raj, State JAC Chairman Ananda Rao, ZP CEO Bhavani Das, Kakinada Corporation Incharge Commissioner P.Satya Kumari, DRO S.Venkat Rao, DSDO R.Ravi, RDO Kishore Kumar, PD Sparjan Raju and others participated in thiis program.
