A retired constable was killed here on Sunday in a road accident hit by a lorry. According to police, retired constable of Kakinada Rural Mandal Sarpavaram police station, Sundaranidi Suryaranarayana (68) went for morning walk at Sarpavaram junction. While crossing a road, a lorry all of sudden struck him with full speed. While the severely injured constable was taken to hospital, he took his last breath in the midway. Sarpavaram Police is investigating this case.
