District level competitions for the selection of Balasri awards was conducted for boys and girls this Monday at Gandhi Nagar Children Park. Selected list was announced by event organizer A.Sarada of Bal Bhavan this Tuesday. Selected candidates must participate in South Zone competitions that would be held at Bangalore she added. She said that candidates selected in south zone competitions will be participating in National Level competitions that would be held at Delhi. She advised that parents must take special care in providing training to the selected candidates. K.Yashwasi is selected in Creative presentation, I.Jhansi Ratna in creative painting, G.Siva Krishna in Creative Arts & Science, P.Dhana Sudha Rani is selected in Creative Writing competitions. Competitions for physically challenged were also conducted in which P. Lalitha Sowmya was selected.
