District By-elections were conducted for the seat of Sarpanch in three Panchayatis peacefully this Thursday from 7a.m to 1p.m. Later, votes counting procedure was conducted from 2p.m. Two members stood in elections from Korukonda Mandal of Bolledhupalem and Alli Simhachalam gained majority number of votes and possessed the seat of Sarpanch. He gained 276 votes more than opposition person Goketi Ammaji and total number of votes he gained were 877. Narlajarla Gangaraju possessed the seat of Sarpanch from Rajanagaram Mandal of Farizellipeta by 145 more votes than opposition person Achiyamma. Gantheti Talupulamma possessed Sarpanch seat from Routhulapoodi Mandal of M.Kothuru with majority votes of 294. According to the officers, voting percentage of Bolledhupalem is 78.71%, Rajanagaram is 86.77, M.Kothuru is 80%.
