Kakinada, Nov 23rd: JNTU has decided to start MBA courses in December 2008 with total students of 18 and to turn the course into residential one in future. The guidelines for the course will be providing by Indian School of Business ISB, Hyderabad.
Speaking on the occasion the Vice Chancellor of JNTU, Prof. Allam Apparao said that their college has formed a three member committee under the chairmanship of Mr.Rao, dean of ISB, and other two being the professors of Andhra University and Gitam University.
Addressing the reporters at JNTU, ISB dean said that the team will decide the course structure, fee details and course content. At present the course will worth 15 lakh to complete in ISB. The fees will be decided by the committee to meet the economic needs of the common student.
“Doctors will be given top priority in this course as many of them were showing interest in this course which will help them in running their hospitals and nursing homes. Many of them preferred the course to be part time”, one of the JNTU professors said.
