District BC Employees Welfare Union demanded to provide them reservation in job promotions like SC & ST employees. A conference on this was organised yesterday by chief secretary Mr. Addanki Venkanna Babu. On this occasion district union president Mr. Yella Satyanarayana said that it is unworthy on Government part, in showing discrimination towards BC employees in this matter. Only 6% of the BC employees are in higher designations and when BC employees are facing such bad situation, they should complusory provided with reservation, he added. He submitted that old method should be followed in fee reimbursement and demanded for national level Independent BC Commission unlinked with SC Commission to be organised. Discussion of Mr. Chandra Babu Naidu on BC declaration has given good results and every party should follow such policies, he added. He also added that they are going to strengthen BC employees union. Gubbala Lakshmi Prasad, Y. Srinivas, V. Rama Krishna, G. Shiva Nath etc participated in this program.
