Kakinada, March 18th: Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University is going to start a research center at the university campus very soon. University vice chancellor Mr. Allam Apparao revealed this to the media at a two day work shop on ‘Data Mining Applications through Clementine’ organized at JNTU campus on Wednesday. Addressing the inaugural function Mr. Apparao said that the university is planning to start a research center at the university campus with a cost of 5 crore.
Mr. Apparao held discussions over the establishment of the research center with the president of International Equitation Council of Quality Education, Dr. D.K Gowtham on Wednesday at his chamber. Speaking on the occasion Mr. Gowtham revealed that they have opted to start the research center at JNTU, as the university is growing day by day in providing quality education by giving quality engineers to the country. He said that out of the 5 crore expenditure one crore each will be given by the university and the international equitation. The remaining will be granted by the government.
Mr. Gowtham said that organizing of research center at JNTU will be beneficial to many of the engineering students in various JNTU affiliated colleges from Srikakulam to Prakasam District. Later VC presented Memento to Mr. Gowtham.
