Reimbursement for Finance courses

Hyderabad, Jan 25th: The Andhra Pradesh Government today announced enhancement of tuition fee reimbursement limit to students pursuing Self Finance Courses such as MBA, MCA, M.Tech, M.Pharmacy. This would cost the state exchequer Rs 167 crore every year and benefit two lakh students.

Announcing the decision taken on the directions of Chief Minister K Rosaiah, Social Welfare Minister P Subash Chandrabose, in a press release, said from now onwards there would be no upper limit of Rs 20,000. Students pursuing the Self Financed Courses having Admissions and Fee Regularatory Committee approval could get reimbursement of full fees. The Government promulgated an order to this effect.

The state government also decided to enhance the rates fixed for taking on lease, buildings for 400 departmental hostels for college students. The new rates ranged from Rs 2.50 per sq foot to Rs 10 per sq. foot per month depending on the location.
