The district administration is taking the help of digital photography technology to distribute relief to the victims of the recent floods. Joint Collector Mr.K. Sasidhar asked the officials to record the digital images of flood victims in all the 22 mandals of the district this Friday. He said that Tahasildars and special officers must take the digital images of flood victims during the damage of houses and crops due to the floods. He said distribution of rice and kerosene to the flood victims was already going on and the ex gratia to those who lost their houses and standing crop would be paid. Mr. Sasidhar asked the officials to submit the reports along with digital images of the victims by Saturday evening. District Revenue Officer Mr.S. Venkata Rao and other officials were present.
