Officials observed that two men did forgery of RDO GC Kishore Kumar’s signature for Land registration purpose. RDO Office staff complained against the accused here on Saturday. Police took them into custody based on the complaint. However, Revenue and Police Department officials did not disclose the details of this case. According to reliable sources, the details of this forgery case have been disclosed. Kundi Mohan Kumar, resident of Samarlakota has been working as Lekhari in Sub Registrar Office. The agreement certificate must be obtained from RDO for Land Registration of Kakinada Rural Mandal Vakalpudi 267th Survey No: 128.9 Square yards, 100 Square yards. On this, he made forgery sign of RDO with the help of his friend Surampudi Siva Kumar. While they went for verification of NOC application at RDO office, they said that RDO signed the application but forgot to put Rubber stamp, they added. Officers observed the application and suspected. They immediately informed I-Town Police on this forgery. Police took them into custody but as the land belongs to rural area, they were shifted to Sarpavaram Police Station later. Sarpavaram Inspector, Mr. S.Nageswarao said that investigation is in process. However, Revenue officers when questioned replied that they are not aware of this till now.
