The newly appointed Commissioner of Kakinada Municipal Corporation, Mr. V.Ravi Kumar took charge here on Saturday. Earlier, Mr. Ravi Kumar worked as Joint Inspector General at Stamps & Registration Department. On deputation, he was appointed as Commissioner. Incharge Commissioner, Mr. P.Satya Kumari, SE Krishna Rao, Manager Satyanarayana, City Planner Rambabu, Health Officer Dr.Ratna Uma, Revenue Officer Bhushana Rao and other department officials gave a warm welcome to the new Commissioner. Later, Commissioner went to Citizen Charter and examined the progress of issuing of Death and Birth certificates. He also visited Revenue, Town planning and DMHO offices. Speaking to media people, he stated that he will interact with various departments and will make necessary plans to provide services to people. Later, he met District Collector Mr. Ravi Chandra.
