Government has declared to introduce Smart card to control illegal supply and bogus cards at ration depots. This procedure will be implemented as Pilot Project in Ranga Reddy, Ananthapuram and in East Godavari Districts in mandal wise. In the rural areas of Kakinada and Talrevu, where Aadhar enrollment has been 100% completed, this process will implemented. In the Kakinada rural area, there are total 56 ration depots and 42,082 ration cards. All these ration cardholders will be given ration with the identification of Aadhar card through Smart cards. On this, Joint Collector Mr. Ahmed Babu and DSO Mr. GS.Sriram visited Hyderabad.
