Kakinda, Dec 16th: Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi (MRPS) has staged dharna at District Collectorate demanding to pass the SC Categorisation bill in parliament. Many leaders and supporter from all over the district has participated in the dharna. The activists have blocked the roads from Ambedkar Bhavan to Zilla Parishat center.
Speaking on the occasion Madiga Porata Samithi president Kondepudi Syambabu demanded for the Categorisation of the Schedule Caste. He said that the chief minister Y.S Rajashekar Reddy has promised them for the Categorisation and has not put his words till now. Activists from Amalapuram, Peddapuram, Rajahmundry and Kakinada took part in the dharna.
The dharna was staged at a greater level and huge traffic jam took place in the city roads which created lot of problems to the people. Police headed by the town Circle inspector, Mr. Ch. Ravikanth, arrested the activists including the leader Kondepudi Syambabu and 20 others for blocking the roads.
