Kakinada, Feb 2nd: Demanding for the SC categorization Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi (MRPS) has organized rasta rook at various places in the town. With the sudden death of Surendra Magida the MRPS leaders declared seven days of mourning. As a part of this the activists organized a seven day camp at district collectorate on Monday. Initially they garlanded the photo of Surendra Madiga and paid rich tributes to him.
Later the activists raised slogans against the government for not introducing the categorization bill in the parliament. The dharna continued till afternoon and from there the activists reached Ambedkar Bhavan and formed a human chain. They burnt the flags of congress party and the effigy of chief minister Raja Shekar Reddy. Meanwhile at Rajahmundry the activists erected tents at Cemetery Peta and at Bommuru Center. Rasta rook organized at RTC complex and Y junction affected the movement of vehicular traffic for more than 30 minutes. MRPS leader Kondepudi Syambabu and others took part.
