One of the MNO of Kakinada Government General Hospital, attempted rape of a Nursing student, who working in Emergency ward, here on Wednesday Night. According to sources, some of the Nursing school students were appointed for the assistance of Staff Nurses here under training. Meantime, one of the patient need to shift to another ward, so that the staff nurse ordered the MNO to bring the stretcher. But the MNO asked to send anyone to help him, as it is difficult to bring it from many tables, he said. Then the staff nurse send one of the nursing student. While she went to the room with him, he was allegedly attempted to rape her. Immediately, she was shouted and run from him. She was reported to the staff nurse. The staff nurse informed the incident to the GGH Superintendent Dr. Venkata Budha. Listening to the issue, the Superintendent suspended the MNO temporarily and doing investigation on this.
