Hyderabad, Oct 19th: Andhra Pradesh Rajiv Swagruha Corporation Senior General Manager (Marketing) Bharat Reddy said the 'Rajiv Swagruha' scheme was beneficial for all sections of the people as the Corporation was providing houses at 25 per cent less than the market value. He said the State Government had established the Corporation for construction of houses for low, middle and higher income groups of people at cheaper prices with modern and latest facilities. He said the Corporation was constructing the houses by self financing of the individuals on the concept of cost to cost without any profits as the government's intention was to provide own houses to all sections of the people in the state.

Mr Reddy said the Corporation, which was established in 2007, had taken up 91 projects at various places in the state and out of them 34 projects had already been grounded and the works on the remaining were going on in full swing. He said the foundation stone for the construction of 1,140 flats in two sizes, single and double bedrooms. On an extent of 16.20 acres of land under first Rajiv Swagruha phase-II at the city outskirts Chandnagar, was laid on March 2007 and the project was completed in last August.
