Railway police rescue 3 kids

Kakinada, Nov 17th: Three government school children of East Godavari district who were found missing since Monday afternoon, were finally rescued by the Railway police, who handed them over to their respective parents here on Tuesday. The Railway police said that with an intention to roam around the state, the three aged around 10 years escaped from their homes with Rs 7,000 cash and boarded a train at Kakinada Railway station and went to Vijayawada. According to the railway police, K. Manikantha, K. Dileep and G. Sai Surya Prakash are native of Neelapalli of Tallarevu mandal. They are studying class V at local government school.

One day, Manikantha proposed a tour with his friends. As per their plan, Manikantha, whose father is a carpenter, stole Rs 7,000 from his house. He along with his friends came to Kakinada. After buying new clothes, shoes, and other things they boarded Gowthami Express, which left towards Vijayawada. Meanwhile, two beat railway police personnel of the train on suspicion questioned the children. The police informed their respective parents and handed over the children to them.
