Rahul confident of winning the polls

Kakinada, April 16th: All India Congress Committee (AICC) general secretary, Mr. Rahul Gandhi expressed confidence of congress coming back to power in the ensuing elections. Addressing the moderate gathering at an election meeting here on Thursday, Rahul took the advantage of welfare schemes taken up by the congress government for the benefit of the poor and their welfare. He complimented the chief minister Raja Shekar Reddy for his effective implementation of the welfare schemes compared to other states like UP and Orissa.

 

Rahul recalled the sacrifices made by his family for the nation. He stressed that congress government is the only government which is striving for the development of the weaker sections right from its formation. He revealed that the implementation of micro finance for women self help groups are much advantages to the poor women. He also complimented the health scheme Rajiv Arogyasri that is giving new life to many poor.

 

Rahul sought the peoples mandate for the congress both at the center and the state again to continue the welfare schemes. He also appealed the people to elect union minister of state for defense, Mr. Pallam Raju to Kakinada Lok Sabha constituency. Chief Minister Raja Shekar Reddy has highlighted the welfare schemes of its government and came down heavily on opposition for creating obstacles in their development activities.
