Responding to the complaints of people at Rachchabanda Program yesterday, the Collector advised the pattadars to approach the Tahsildars concerned along with their ration cards and house site pattas during the village-wise special drive for giving possession of house sites. In case, the beneficiaries are non-locals, their sites would be resumed and re-allotted to the eligible persons. Mr. M.Ravichandra stated that a special drive would be launched all over the District from 14th of February to hand over possession of the plots to those who were issued pattas assigning house sites but not given the possession. Later, Corporation Commissioner, Mr. G.S.N.Murthy announced that Rachchabanda program has been rescheduled to cover all the divisions in the period. According to this, he released a press note here on Saturday. In this, Mr. Murthy had given the clear details about the changes in the program schedules that from 31st of January to 5th of February counters will be conducted for four divisions per day in 26, 27 , 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 18, 19, 20, 21 divisions,. He stated that Schedules for 22, 23, 24, 25, 46 & 47 divisions are not yet confirmed.
