District Collector, Mr. M. Ravi Chandra on Thursday asked the officials to make ‘Rachchabanda' program a success in the District. He said the program would be held from 24th of January to 12th of February on all working days. He also announced that the ‘Praja Darbar' program scheduled for Mondays would be cancelled until the completion of the ‘Rachchabanda.' Addressing a review meeting, Mr. Ravi Chandra asked the officials to prepare a detailed schedule of ‘Rachchabanda' program in advance and forward the copies to the elected representatives concerned. He wanted the officials to launch the program at 8am in the select villages all the officials concerned could take one vehicle to assure coordination. Mr. Ravi Chandra asked the officials to accept applications from the villagers for welfare schemes and new ration cards during the public interaction program. Joint Collector Mr. K. Sasidhar and other officials were present.
