Kakinada, Jan 29th: For the pulse polio programme to be organized in the state on February 1st, a rally was organized by the students of Anandha Bharathi Municipal School in the city on Thursday. The rally was all about to create awareness among the people about the pulse polio programme. The municipal commissioner Mr. G.S.N Murthy flagged off the rally at the local Anandha Bharathi grounds.
With pulse polio flags and banners, the students of the school have wandered the city roads on Thursday. They raised slogans stating to make the program a success by immunizing the children between the age group of 0 to 5. They also raised slogans against the polio and alleged for its complete eradication. District immunization officer Dr. Murali Krishna, Municipal health officer Dr. Mohan Krishna and others participated.
