Kakinda, Jan 30th: Andhra Pradesh state government is going to organize state wide pulse polio immunization program on February 1st, 2009. The parents can avail this facility by immunizing their children between the age group of 0 to 5. West Godavari district medical and health officer, Dr Vijay Paul appealed the parents to immunize the children with out failure even if they were suffering with cold, cough and fever. Speaking to the media persons he said that, all the arrangements were done to avoid disturbances on that day.
Pulse polio rally held:
For the pulse polio immunization program to be organized in the state, the school children belonging to various institutions took out a rally in the city on Friday to create awareness among the people. The district health officer Dr. Vijay Kumar has flagged off the rally organized by the students of Municipal Girls High School, Jagganaickpur. District immunization officer, Dr. P. Murali Krishna has initiated the rally organized by Paradesammapeta Municipal High School students.
