Kakinada, Sep 28th: Prajarajyam Party East Godavari District President Jyothula Nehru today came down heavily on the Andhra Pradesh Government for its alleged inaction in dealing with seasonal diseases in the district. Talking to newspersons on Sept 28, he said the people in the district were suffering from various diseases, including Malaria, Dengue, viral fever and Swine Flu.
Two persons died of Dengue, one in Thalluru village and other in Karapa Village, he added. Alleging the State has failed to take urgent remedial measures, he said the government should declare health emergency before the situation deteriorated. He also alleged the administration had virtually come to a halt owing to the leadership tussle in the ruling Congress on Chief Ministership. Pointing out people in the State was facing untold hardships following the tussle and resulting agitations, he said it was highly irresponsible to damage public property.
