Kakinada, Dec 19^th: Praja Rajyam Party women activists staged dharna at district collectorate on Friday. They staged dharna protesting against the attacks on the women especially on the girl students. They alleged that the attacks are increasing from the past few days and asked the government to bring laws accordingly.

    The women activists staged dharna at the front gate of the collectorate and blocked the way. They started the rally from the Pratapnagar  PRP office and reached collectorate through Gandhinagar Park, Indrapalem and Ambedkar Bhavan. Due to lack of police forces complete disorder took place.

     Speaking on the occasion, the women leaders demanded the government to take action on the culprits involved in the attacks and asked to provide special security forces to the women. They demanded to arrange special women grievance cells to the women in each district. Later they submitted petition to the district revenue officer Mohanraju about the demands.
