Kakinada, Dec 22nd: Protests in favor of united Andhra continued in the Kakinada region on Tuesday. While the relay hunger strike of all political party leaders including the Kakinada (Urban) MLA, Mr. Dwarampudi Chandrashekar Reddy was extended to the 11th day, that of the advocates of Kakinada Bar Association and students of PR Government college here for the ninth and eight day respectively.
Advocates of the Kakinada Bar Association took out a funeral procession of KCR and torched his effigy at Balaji Cheruvu here. Later, they consecrated the statue of Potti Sriramulu with flowers. A large number of women including members of self help groups are also participated in the Samaikya Andhra movement. Raising slogans against KCR, the women formed a human chain at Balaji Cheruvu on Tuesday evening.
