YSR Congress Party demanded Government to reduce the raised electricity charges here on Tuesday in Kakinada. According to this, the party members under the supervision of YSR Party City Convener Mr. Ragireddy Kumar staged a protest against Government infront of the APEPDCL Division Office here on Tuesday in Kakinada. Speaking on this, he grieved that Government collecting 160 Crores of rupees in additional from the public due to this hike. A common man cannot bear this additional charges, he added. He also said, Government should withdraw the hikes proposal or else they will stage a strong protest against the Government. Later, he had submitted an appeal letter to DE Mr. Murthy.
