CPI party representatives of the district, staged a protest against to the hike in RTC fares. Demanding rollback of the hike in APSRTC fares, they have conducted rasta roko program in Kakinada. Speaking on this, the CPI leader Mr. Thokala Prasad has stated that the government should come to the rescue of the RTC if it were in losses, but, not burden the commoner. The government would face the ire of public if necessary steps were not taken in this regard, he stressed. The party representatives Mr. Nakka Kishore, Mr. Apanna, Mr. Nakka Yesupadam, Mr. Madhav Kumar, Mr. P.Lovaraju, Mr. John, Mr. Sankar, Mr. Govind and others participated in the program.
