Plans are under way to start super-specialty courses soon at Rangaraya Medical College (RMC). Principal of RMC Dr.Vikram Kumar will discuss on this again in Hyderabad. He will participate in a meeting with Hospital Superintendents and Principals of other Medical Colleges. GGH Superintendent MBR Sarma reached Hyderabad to participate in this meeting this Tuesday night. Present in Rangaraya Medical College, MD and M.Sc Master Degree courses are only available. Due to increase in medical necessities in Government General Hospital, Super specialty courses are very much necessary. Though GGH has super specialty ward, there are no adequate doctors nor super specialty equipments available in this ward. In this view, Dr.Vikram Kumar submitted proposals to M.C.I to sanction one seat in super-specialty courses like Neurology, Urology, Plastic surgery, Neurosurgery, Pediatric Surgery and Cardiothoracic Surgery. In order to get the permission he will participate in a meeting in Hyderabad.
