Promotions in police department of district is still on flow. 4 C.I's got promoted as DSP cadres and in the purview of Eluru range, 31 S.I got promoted as C.I's. Already 130 head constables and A.S.I's are promoted as S.I's. Recently, 66 constables from 1984,1985,1987 batches are promoted as head constables. They were sent to medical test in Government General Hospital this Thursday. Along with blood tests, ECG, Sugar, Blood pressure ,Urinal test were conducted. These candidates will report in SP office and then they will be sent to training center in Tirupathi. For filling up of these constables position, selections are already completed but names of the eligible candidates are yet to revealed. Nearly 5,000 candidates are selected and after there written examination results, they will be sent for training. But to due some technical problems this selections has been delayed.
