Project Vijay launched

Rajahmundry, Nov 19th: In an attempt to reach out to the people by providing information on various services and packages being offered, the BSNL has launched Project Vijay here on Thursday.  Inaugurating the project, the BSNL chief general manger, Mr. Sudheendra Kumar, said that it would help people to learn about various packages being offered by the BSNL. He also launched a toll free number 15678.

Later speaking to the media, BSNL district telecom general manager, Mr. G. Raghavendra Rao, stated that for the first time in the state, they were launching such a project for the benefit of the customers. As part of the project, they would extend their services with regard to sale of sim cards, recharge coupons and top-up cards through their franchisees, sub-franchisees and retailers at Rajahmundry, Kakinada, Amalapuram, Razole, Tuni and Samalkota zones in the district.

As part of newly introduced package, the BSNL general manager said that calls from mobile phones from BSNL to BSNL would be charged at one paise for second and in case of calls made from BSNL to other networks, per second 1.20 paise would be charged.
