Program on Influenzas at Red Cross

Kakinada, Dec 3 : The Indian Red cross society, AP unit today organized a two-day sensitization program on influenzas to the red cross volunteers of seven districts, including Srikakulam, East and west Godavari, Guntur, Prakasam, Nellore and Mehboobnagar. 

Inaugurating the program Dr P Vijayakumar, district medical and health officer said it was essential for the Red cross volunteers to have clear knowledge on various types of influenzas that affects the people, especially the Swine Flu. Red Cross Administrative Officer S Venkateswerlu said that 35 volunteers besides Aasa scheme workers were attending the training program.
