World Printers Day was celebrated, here on Monday in Kakinada. Commemorating the memory of Johan Gutenberg, who has been decorated with the title of 'Father of Printing', the Offset & Letter Press Printers Association of Kakinada has observed the day by organising a function at Maharshi Sambamurthy Physically Handicapped Girls Residential School in Kakinada. They have provided food to around 100 students in the school to mark the day. Speaking on this, the association President Mr. G.Srinivas has called upon the services of Johan Gutenberg to the printing world. He said that the government should provide subsidy for the development of printing services in the state. Association members Mr. J.Prabhakaram, Mr. P.Chinababu, Mr. Prakash and others participated in the program.
