Joint Collector, Mr. K.Sasidhar stated that five polling stations were allotted in each Revenue division for MLC Elections. These Elections will be conducted on 21st of the March at the polling stations. According to this, Mr. Sasidhar gave special training to the officers on execution of elections from morning 8am to evening 4pm here at Vidhan Gowthami Hall at Collectorate. Zonal Officers, Presiding Officers and other staff participated in this training. Speaking on this, Mr. Sasidhar says, there are total 1,237 voters from District, including 68 from Rampachodavaram Division, 218 from Kakinada Division, 240 from Peddapuram Division, 338 from Amalapuram Division, 373 from Rajahmundry Division. Arrangements have been set for the elections, he added.
