Election commission has given a chance to correct the mistakes done in voters list and to make required changes. As a part of mistakes correction in voters list, Election Commissioner passed orders to all booth level officers to conduct house to house survey. As per orders verification survey has been started and at the same time new applications are accepted from 18 year old children to join in voters list. Staff said, out of 33,19,601 voters in the district, 16,52,875 are men and 16,66,726 are women. There are 3906 Polling stations in the limit of 19 Constitutions of the district, they added.
