Kakinada, April 28th: In order to educate the farmers with latest agricultural methods and to impart them with new ideals in improving yield, the agriculture department is organizing pre-kharif publicity campaign for the farmers. Officers belonging to Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry and marketing departments are visiting the villages and creating awareness among the farmers with latest methods in the two week long program scheduled from April 27 to May 10.
According to this program the officials will directly know the requirements of the farmers and will be informing the same to the higher authority’s concerned and suitable action will be taken without delay. Success stories in the villages are being given wide publicity to inspire others to implement the best techniques for the process of increasing the production and productivity. Under the support of joint director of agriculture department, T. Nandaiah the department has set up a monitoring cell which will be coordinating the field visits made by the officials.
