Kakinada, Mar 22nd: Rs 1.03 crore worth of 33-11 KV power station at Madvapatnam of Samalkot mandal of Kakinada region was inaugurated by the Kakinada MP and minister of State for Defense, Mr. M.M Pallam Raju here on Monday. With the inauguration of this power station villages including Madhavapatnam, VK Rayapuram, SVR Peta, Mamilladoddi, Rameswaram, Achyutapuram and Karakuduru would get uninterrupted power supply form now. Speaking on the occasion he stressed the need of setting up of nuclear power centers in the country for uninterrupted power supply. Later Mr. Raju laid foundation stone for the construction of an addition class room at ZP school, worth Rs 6 lakh. He also inaugurated the road worth Rs 4 lakh that is going to be laid under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme.
