The 113th birth anniversary of Indian revolutionary, Amarajeevi Sri Potti Sriramulu was grandly celebrated, here on Sunday in Kakinada. As a part of the celebrations, the Kakinada city Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leaders, members & followers reached the party office and garlanded the photograph of Sri Potti Sriramulu with flowers here. They have paid rich tributes to him on this occasion. Speaking on this, TDP Kakinada Parliament In-charge Mr. Pothula Viswam, Ex-MLA's Mr. Vanamadi Venkateswara Rao (Kondababu) and Mr. Chelli Vivekananda were called upon the services of Potti Sriramulu towards the Andhra Pradesh State formation. Mr. Pothula Viswam said, he is the only one person who laid down his life for formation of the State. He criticized that the Congress party has made his sacrifice as worthless by dividing the state as two parts. On otherside, the Vasavi Club Kakinada and many other organisations were also celebrated the day here.
