Union Defence Minister, Mr. Mallipudi Mangapathi Pallam Raju and Vijyawada Railway DRM Anurag visited the newly constructed Port Railway Station here on Thursday. Speaking on this, Minister Mr. Pallam Raju stated that all basic arrangements are being arranged for passengers in this railway station. Once all the arrangements have been made the Railway station will be officially inaugurated, he added. On the other hand, the Railway Over Bridge under construction at Sambamurthy Nagar will be completed within 3 months, he added. DRM Anurag stated that actions would be taken to organize Railway Coaches and Goods wagons. In this program, Cocanada Chamber of Commerce President Mr. Dantu Surya Rao, Peddapuram MLA Mr. Pantham Gandhi Mohan, Vijayawada Railway Divisional Commercial Manager Mr. Ramesh Babu, Other Railway and Port officers were present.
