Kakinada, Mar 16^th: East Godavari district collector and returning officer Mr. Gopala Krishna Dwevedi has reviewed the arrangements of the polls in the district. In this concern a review meeting was organized by him at local Zilla Parishat meeting hall on Monday. Officials belonging to excise and police department attended the meeting. Speaking on the occasion collector asked the officers belonging to both the departments to look over the arrangements so as to avoid all kind of disturbance during the time of polls.

Collector also reviewed the works that are being made on polls at yanam. He sought co-operation from the Yanam admistration for the smooth conduct of polls in the district. He asked the officials of both the sides to keep a vigil on the supply of liquor from yanam to East Godavari District as the cost of liquor is cheap in Yanam compared to that in Andhra Pradesh. District SP Y. Nagi Reddy also spoke on the occasion. He asked the police personnel’s to keep a check on the supply of money, liquor or any other favour. He revealed to give cash prizes to the people who inform them about the poll code violators.
