State Chief Minister Mr. N. Kiran Kumar Reddy and Home Minister Smt. Sabita Indira Reddy has visited Neelam cyclone effected areas in the district here on Tuesday. Meanwhile, BJP State President Mr. Kishan Reddy, Telugu Desam Party Leader Mr. Murali Mohan, YSR Congress party leader Smt. Vijayamma and other respective political leaders had also visited the rain effected areas like Tuni, Amalapuram, etc., in the district.
Responding to the issue, District Telugu Desam Party Leaders demanded Government to provide Rs.15000 for each acre to the farmers, who lost crops due to the Neelam cyclone.
District Loksatta Party has arranged a team to research the loss for the heavy rains at Tuni, Gollaprolu, Annavaram etc., areas in the district. According to this, Party State Vice President Mr. Y.D.Ramarao had released a press note here on Tuesday. This team will identify the loss and prepare a report on this, he added.
