Police unravels mystery behind murder

Rajahmundry, June 22nd: Police unraveled the mystery behind the murder of a lorry driver and arrested four persons including the main culprit. According to the police the dead body of a youth was found near Dunnapothula Punta near Yerramsetti Rambabu nursery on June 11. After the police enquiry the deceased was identified as Andem Satish of Nalgonda district. He was working as a lorry driver with My Home Constructions Limited and Mahasakthi Cement Co.

 

One Munagala Srinivasa Rao working as supervisor of Vemagiri branch was owing Rs 80, 000 to the company. In order to repay the amount, Srinivasa Rao conspired with satish to sell the cement and share the amount. Accordingly they sold away cement to Obilisetti Veerababu of Vemagiri for Rs 81,340. Rao allowed Satish to stay at his home on the night he was murdered. Fearing to share the money, Rao killed Satish on June 10 and dumped the dead body in puntha. Police arrested Srinivasa Rao along with his wife who helped him in murder and two purchases of the cement.
