District Police paid rich tributes to police personnel who sacrificed their lives for the Nation, marking the Police Commemoration Day here on Friday at the District Police office premises in Kakinada. District Superintendent of Police, Mr. Trivikrama Varma has observed this program. District Collector, Mr. M.Ravi Chandra as a chief guest presided over the program. Joint Collector Mr. Ahmed Babu, Additional SP Mr. Aavula Subbarao, Kakinada DSP Mr. Lakshmi Narayana offered garlands to the Police martyrs at the office premises. Commemorating them, Collector Mr. Ravi Chandra stated that people should be thankful to them and extend all possible support to them for maintaining peace in society. Officials of District Revenue, Civil supplies, Forest and Fire Department & Retired Police people attended.
