Police Commemoration day was held yesterday in the premises of District Police office in Kakinada. Minister Mr. Thota Narasimham attended as a chief guest. He payed tribute to the monument of our great warriors. On this occasion he said that police play a vital role in maintaining peace and providing us protection. This program was held grandly under the supervision of SP Mr. Trivikram Varma. Police salutation was oraganised in the begining of the program and silence was kept for two minutes. A list a 566 police who scarificed their life for country were read out by SP Mr. Trivikram. Responding on this Minister Mr. Narasimham said that 10 police from different areas of our state has scarificed their lifes. They protected us without giving any place for violent and destruction situations and i congradulate the officers for maintaining peace throughout, he added. He submitted that all neccessary steps will be taken inorder to support the families of our legend warriors. MLC Chaitanya Raju, MLA Vanga Geetha, Congress Party Senior Leaders, Police Employee Union Leader Mr. BalaRam and many other big shots participated in this program.
